Join our growing team today! Position Summary The Apprentice Service Technician helps and performs startup, service, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment and HVAC systems according to LONG service procedures.
Using experience gained in the HVAC industry and/or education program and under the direction of Journeyman Service Technicians and Project Managers, the Apprentice Service Technician will perform maintenance on equipment throughout their area of responsibility while provided excellent customer service and solution of issues.

Responsibilities Helping and performing startup, service, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment and HVAC systems according to service procedures Making steady progress towards Journeyman Level Service Technician Checking in the customers upon arrival at job sites and checking out with customers when leaving jobsites Promptly and accurately completing all required paperwork while on the job Using a variety of hand tools to troubleshoot, repair and install Maintaining positive working relationships with customers, technicians, dispatch, sales and management Represent company in a professional manner Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications 1 year of HVAC trade school or 1 year of mechanical and/or electrical work experience Must be mechanically inclined and possess good customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to work after-hours when needed Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication skills, as well as excellent documentation and organizational skills Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to learn additional computer software quickly Preferred Qualifications The ability to obtain a valid CFC Refrigeration certificate within 30 days after first day of employment Working Conditions Environment:
Indoor and outdoor environments Physical Requirements Routine sitting, lifting, bending, and kneeling Ability to climb ladders, comfortable in mechanical rooms, and on roofs Ability to lift 50 lbs.
